Now rescheduled for October 7th!
Celebrate historic Maryland and collect petition signatures.
The Maryland Forward Party is going to the Middletown Heritage Festival to join in the celebration of one of Frederick County’s great historic towns. Volunteer with us to help collect petition signatures and get the Forward word out. We need help both in front of the table to talk with people and behind the table with data entry.
This movement is powered entirely by volunteers just like you.
WHO: You! Forward Party volunteers
WHAT: Talking to people OR helping with data entry for petition signatures.
WHEN: Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 9:00am
WHERE: Green Street, Middletown, MD. Our booth will be just across the street from the cemetery (it is getting to be Halloween season, after all!)
WHY: To collect signatures to make Forward an officially recognized political party in Maryland, and to let our fellow Marylanders know who we are and what we stand for.
We will have a table and tent set up for the festivities in Middletown’s historic downtown. Setup will begin at 8:30am, and the festival goes from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Volunteers are free to stay for either all or part of it. We will do a debrief at the end and perhaps get a drink together at a local establishment.
Bring your phone, a water bottle, sunscreen, and backup power for your phone. You can pack a lunch if you would like, but we will have snacks and there will also be food vendors at and near the event.
