Meet:
Anthony Lyon
District 34B
Maryland House of Delegates
I sought the Forward Party's endorsement to represent the results-driven, independent-minded approach to governing that I will embody if elected. The two-party system has driven us apart by harping on our differences and divisive national issues, whereas my campaign -- and the Forward Party -- are about emphasizing our common values and shared local issues.

Born and raised in Ohio, Anthony became interested in politics at an early age. He started working on campaigns while studying at Hiram College and after, he joined races up and down the ballot. He moved to Bel Air in 2022 for work and knew he was home. Since then, he's continued to campaign and worked for the Senate President's office during the 2023 legislative session. You can often find him walking to and from work at Rice Consulting in downtown Bel Air, where he's an Account Manager. Anthony's a firm believer in engaged citizenship. He's involved at St. Margaret Parish, played with the Middle River Community Band, and was a member of the Harford County Democratic Central Committee. Anthony, a product of a Republican family and Democratic friends, considers himself an independent. His dedication to public service comes from all of his experience. He wants a government that everyone can be proud of.
