Meet:

Jenn Alcorn

Frederick County Council, District 1

Councilperson

I’m running for County Council to find real solutions for our community. Forward's emphasis on bottom-up problem-solving and working across party lines reflects how I believe government should be collaborative, practical, and focused on results rather than party politics.

Jenn Alcorn

Jenn Alcorn is a candidate for Frederick County Council in District 1 who believes leadership starts with listening, thoughtful decision-making, and a commitment to results for residents. For nearly 20 years, she has been actively involved as a volunteer in Frederick County, working alongside neighbors, supporting local organizations, and stepping in wherever help was needed. Her approach to public service is grounded in compassion, community engagement, and the belief that local government should solve problems rather than create division.

Jenn supports strengthening schools, protecting farms and Frederick County’s rural character, supporting seniors and working families, and making responsible fiscal decisions that ease pressure on county residents. She believes Frederick County needs balanced leadership that responsibly grows the economy, expands the commercial tax base, and invests wisely in essential community services.

Jenn became aware of the Forward Party during the 2025 Frederick City elections and was drawn to its emphasis on bottom-up problem-solving and collaboration across party lines. She sought the Forward Party’s endorsement because it reflects her belief that leaders should focus on practical solutions and meaningful outcomes rather than partisan politics. Jenn is committed to helping make Frederick County safer, healthier, and more prosperous for every family, every farm, and every future.
