In my work as an attorney helping low-income people, I see so many laws that shouldn't exist and particularly harm low-income people. I'm running for State Senate because we need laws that work and that work for everyone.

Meet:
Steven Messmer
Steven is an attorney at a nonprofit helping low-income families stabilize their housing. Before becoming an attorney, Steven served as a math teacher at Forest Park High School in Baltimore. Steven has lived in Baltimore for 10 years, with 9 of those years in Pigtown where he currently lives with his wife and two kids. His family recently became certified for foster care. Steven is a committed member of his church and a neighbor who genuinely cares.
