Volunteer Training
Initial instance of a planned monthly training program for new volunteers. Existing volunteers and interested parties are encouraged to join us to learn more about the Maryland Forward Party and give us feedback to incorporate into the monthly training sessions.

About the event
We are are planning on holding a 90 minute monthly training program for all the new volunteers who join us each month. This training class will be a dress rehearsal to finalize content and timing We think that virtually all of our current volunteers can learn more about the Maryland Forward Party and encourage them to join us and to give us feedback on how this session might be improved. People just looking to know more about the Maryland Forward Party are also very welcome to attend.
The training will include:
An introduction to the leadership of the Maryland Forward Party
Our game plan to become a political party by the end of 2026
Our five priorities: why they are a priority, how they will work, what benefits they will bring, and what are the people who oppose these initiatives saying about them
We want to have lots of Q & A so we are planning on 90 minutes for this program to leave plenty of time for that. If there are more questions, we will keep the meeting open as long as people have something to say.
This meeting will be recorded and we will make a link to that recording and/or the slides that are presented available to anyone who would like them.
