RANKED CHOICE VOTING
More Voices. Better Choices. Majority Rule.
It's time to upgrade Maryland's elections. Start voting FOR what you want instead of against what you don't.
THE PROBLEM: Our System Is Outdated
-
Most Maryland elections use a “plurality” system.
-
Candidates don’t need the majority vote to win.
-
Voters feel pressure to vote strategically.
-
Campaigns focus on division rather than solutions.
The Upgrade: Ranked Choice Voting

1. Rank Your Choices
Rank candidates in order of preference: 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice.
50%
2. Instant Run Off
If no one gets over 50% of the vote, the last-place candidate is eliminated.

3. Majority Chooses
Votes transfer to subsequent choices until a true majority emerges.
Tested. Proven. Local.
